Commercial Drainage – Trace and Access

In the scope of commercial facilities management, addressing drainage issues promptly and effectively is paramount. This case study delves into the challenges faced by a commercial property company.

The challenge here was recurring drainage issues across several managed sites, leading to water backups, foul odours, and potential structural damage. Identifying the exact source of these problems proved to be a challenging task, as many drainage systems were concealed or buried underground.

We conducted a thorough assessment, utilising state-of-the-art technology and acoustic leak detection equipment to pinpoint areas of concern within the drainage networks.

Traced the path of drainage pipes and identified hidden access points throughout the site. This allowed direct access to problem areas without the need for disruptive excavation.

Targeted repairs and maintenance strategies were introduced to the site’s unique requirements. From clearing blockages and repairing leaks to optimising drainage flow, proactive measures were taken to enhance the performance and longevity of the drainage systems.

Scheduled inspections and maintenance routines were implemented to detect and mitigate potential drainage problems before they escalate, minimising downtime and costly repairs.

By accurately identifying and addressing root causes, we facilitated a prompt resolution for drainage problems, restoring optimal functionality.

By targeting repairs and maintenance efforts based on precise diagnostics, we were able to keep costs realistic in terms of labour, materials, and operational downtime.
